Fitting & installation

A small upgrade starts with the right fit. Read this before mounting your projector.

1. Check your door

Find a flat mounting area on the inside of the door with an unobstructed path to the ground. The device face is 6.8 × 6.6 cm. Check that the door can close fully without the projector touching the sill, seat or trim.

2. Power and test

Each unit requires 3 AAA batteries. Insert them according to the compartment markings. Test the projector in darker surroundings before attaching it. Plan to have batteries ready.

3. Prepare the surface

Clean and dry the mounting area. Check placement and door clearance before removing the adhesive liner. Avoid textured or curved surfaces that prevent secure contact.

4. Mount and check

Apply the adhesive and press the projector securely into position. Recheck the door clearance. The projected crest should fall onto the ground beside the open door.

Getting the best reveal

View after dark. Ambient light, mounting height and ground texture affect the appearance. Never mount the device where it interferes with door operation or safety equipment.
